Learn Abacus At Home is a video rich community platform designed to help our members not only teach Abacus to their own Children but also coach our members to teach Abacus Math to other children they may wish to help.

To be successful, we strongly urge our members to follow the structure as outlined. Do not skip any weeks! Try not to rush through the content with your students. It’s not just about learning the content that’s important. Student also needs time to absorb the content, get comfortable with it, and learn how to apply the concept each week.

Remember – this is a Marathon, not a Sprint.

Every lesson is a learning block and the blocks need to be stacked in the right order to build a solid foundation.

We understand that as a teacher, you could be teaching different children starting at different times. Due to this we are making the entire curriculum available to our members.

As you navigate through the curriculum, you will find that most lessons are accompanied by two (sometimes three) videos:

First video covers the topic of the week in detail.

In the second “worksheet support” video we work through a handful of questions in the worksheets together.

There are weekly “With Abacus” worksheets that accompany each lesson. The child is expected to use the abacus on these worksheets. There are additional “Picture Abacus” worksheet with most lessons where the child learns to picture/visualize the abacus to do Mind Math. We strongly recommend the child do all worksheets for the week before moving on to the next lesson.

BTW, as you go through the curriculum, we want you to know that you are not alone. We understand that as you begin, you will have a number of questions. Your membership comes with access to a supportive community where you can post and get answers to your questions. We are in the community answering members questions and so are other members who started before you. Typically, most questions are answered with 24 hrs or less.
